WaltIndians.jpgThe Society's current theme is Local Indians and Indian lore. Lucille is looking for artifacts for display at the museum so Walter took it upon himself to capture one of the Indians he has spotted living nearby. Seems he may have run into a little more than he bargained for but thinks he got the better of the deal.

The Historical Society is always interested in acquiring old photos of people and places in Chichester, old diaries, or artifacts used and owned by residents as well as Chichester advertising signs, architectural fragments, and other items of interest. Photos can be scanned and the originals returned. Contact Fred Shaw.
